Having come from background in banking and financial services as well as other customer service orientated fields, the move to working in Howard Cundey Live as Head of Customer Services including sales progression was natural for me as it was central to the customer service skill I had developed. My team handle many hundreds of cases through to successful completion and I am very proud that we get some very touching testimonials. The whole team has a tremendous feeling of satisfaction when we are able to report the good news that keys can be handed over for one of our customers to move into their new home.

From a young age it became apparent to me that sales isn’t just a job or a career but a way of life. Even if you don’t work in a sales environment you will encounter opportunities around every corner. Whether it be getting your manager to give you a pay rise or just convincing your partner that they do in fact want the all-new 70” plasma TV; So it was no surprise to myself that upon leaving school I went straight into selling. Started small in retail for a department store, worked my way up to manager there, but soon realised that if I wanted bigger results…I needed bigger stock. I got into the Estate Agency scene back in 2015 as a Negotiator for Lettings, then once I had gained enough knowledge, made the leap over to Sales. With having both skills under my belt, motivation to get my head down, and a little bit of being at the right place at the right time I made my way to where I am today within a short 3 years. All the while DJing in nightclubs at weekends and running my own recording studio.

Now I am right where I want to be, predominantly dealing with Lettings and being the one taking on properties, finding tenants, and ultimately moving them in successfully. Howard Cundey have not only allowed me to reach this potential but have also given me that family orientated environment that was missing before. They say there are 3 aspects of life and mastering all three can lead to fulfilment: Work life, Family life, Relationship life. Thanks to these guys, I’ve nailed all three.

Following working as an Elf in the lead up to Christmas 2011, I embarked on a career in Estate Agency at the start of 2012. Wanting to work in a vibrant and dynamic industry yet still working with a range of different people drew me to the industry and it’s a move that I glad I made! Having worked my way through from Lettings Negotiator to Lettings Manager, I loved seeing how the market and operations have changed, particularly with the increase of smartphones. With a slight side step to a Head of Compliance role in 2017, I gained the ARLA qualification in December 2017. Having missed interactions with clients, in March 2018 I moved back in to Estate Agency. Taking on properties, finding the best tenants for the best properties and guiding them through to a move in as seamlessly as possible is a role I love.
In my spare time I enjoy light activities such as yoga and Zumba, as well as catching up with friends over a glass of wine.

I am involved in many of our day to day business activities, and it’s brilliant to have rewarding day to day contact with property owners, developers, landlords and tenants. It is a complete team effort across the board and a pleasure dealing with our dedicated staff and valued clients. I work closely with my co-founder, Tim Foulkes, to ensure that we continue to be a forward thinking online estate agency delivering a customer focussed service.
Outside of work I love nothing better than spending time with family and friends, cooking on the BBQ, walking my dog and driving my track car at race circuits.

I started in agency in 1988 working for various corporate and independent firms in residential sales, financial services, lettings and management. This has given me an in-depth knowledge about property marketing enabling me to apply the best practices to the way we work.
I share with my co-founder, Dan Berrisford, responsibility for running the business and I have a particular interest in our marketing and promotions. I am extremely proud of our mascot Howard the Fish who has helped us win awards in innovation and marketing
We have a great team and work ethos at Howard Cundey which is reflected in the high standards of service we offer. I ensure that we look at new technologies and implement those that improve our standards of service and make life easier for our customers.
I am proud that we are sponsors and supporters of the Air Ambulance and being actively involved with our local communities. Outside of work I love nothing better than spending time with my two boys and friends and following my football team Spurs.
